Public Records Request

Overview

Public Records Request Policy

The California Public Records Act requires inspection and/or disclosure of governmental records to the public upon request, unless exempted by law. To make a public records request, please complete the online Public Records Act form or email prarequest@ocers.org.

OCERS generally has 10 days to respond with a determination as to whether your request, in whole or in part, seeks copies of disclosable public records. Once a determination has been made, and if the requested records are disclosable, OCERS will provide the requestor with an estimated date and time when the records will be made available.
