Suzanne Jenike has been with OCERS since December 1999 and is currently the Assistant CEO of External Operations. As ACEO she assists in developing the strategic direction and business plan goals for the organization. She manages the Member Services, Disability and Communications teams and is responsible for ensuring the membership receive quality customer service, timely and accurate benefit payments as well as effective communication about those benefits.  

Prior to becoming ACEO, Suzanne was the Director of Member Services where she managed the daily activities necessary to process retirement benefits for 20,000 retirees, beneficiaries and survivors as well as the transactions associated to 30,000 active and deferred members from 20 participating Employers. Suzanne holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Cal State University Long Beach.
