The Orange County Employees Retirement System (OCERS) is happy to share that the Orange County Board of Supervisors has reappointed Mr. Shawn Dewane (Trustee, Public Member), Mr. Arthur Hidalgo (Trustee, Public Member), and Mr. Charles Packard (Trustee, Public Member) to the Orange County Board of Retirement. Each will serve a new three-year term effective January 1, 2026, through December 31, 2028.

We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to the Orange County Employees Association (OCEA) and General Manager Charles Barfield for their support and assistance in ensuring that all Board of Supervisors’ questions regarding these reappointments were successfully addressed and resolved.

The reappointed Trustees will take their oath of office at the January 2026 Board Meeting, alongside Ms. Adele Lopez Tagaloa (Trustee, General Member) and Mr. Roger Hilton (Trustee, Retiree Member), both of whom were reelected earlier this year.
