Adele Lopez Tagaloa is a dedicated public servant in her third term and seventh year as a General Board Member of the Orange County Employees Retirement System. Following her service as Board Chair, she currently serves as Chair of the Audit Committee and as a member of the Investment and Building Committees.

Grounded in collaboration, curiosity, and a commitment to people, Ms. Lopez Tagaloa brings a broad range of experience from her work with the County of Orange Registrar of Voters, the Orange County Employees Association, the nonprofit sector, and the semiconductor industry. As a third-generation union worker, she is committed to promoting workplace fairness and supporting retirement security for public employees. Her perspective is shaped by firsthand experience with the transformative impact of defined benefit pension programs on retirees, active members, and their beneficiaries.

Ms. Lopez Tagaloa is actively engaged in issues related to pension governance, democratic participation, and access to education and opportunity. In addition to her professional responsibilities, she volunteers with the local chapter of Best Buddies. She currently serves as President of the State Association of County Retirement Systems (SACRS), as a Board Member of the Orange County Employees Association (OCEA), and on the City of Anaheim Community Services Commission representing District 2.
