Pension Protection Act Update

Social Security Protection Act impacts new members
Beginning January 1, 2005, any new employee who becomes a member of OCERS must sign Form SSA-1945. An original, signed copy of the form must be submitted by the new employee's Plan Sponsor to OCERS before employment begins, and it should be sent along with the Member Affidavit.

Review of Economic Actuarial Assumptions
On May 19, 2008, OCERS' actuary presented the Board of Retirement with a report reviewing the December 31, 2007 economic actuarial assumptions for OCERS. Click here to review the report.

Actuarial Experience Study
