The Opportunity: OCERS is seeking to fill the position of Senior Information Technology Applications Developer. The incumbent will provide internal customers with high quality and effective technology products, detailed data analysis, thorough data mining, accurate reporting and professional support that will contribute to exceptional and efficient administration of information systems. The individual in this role will be responsible for designing, developing and testing mission critical enterprise solutions and other custom application development projects, focusing on Microsoft SharePoint, reporting from both Oracle and SQL Server databases using Structured Query Language (SQL) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), application development using the .NET Framework, C#, VB.NET and ASP.NET, and other technologies such as JavaScript and CSS/LESS/SCSS. bulletPosition Title: Deputy Chief Counsel

The Opportunity: OCERS is seeking to fill the position of Deputy Chief Counsel. Under the administrative direction of the Chief Legal Officer, the Deputy Chief Counsel performs the more complex and difficult legal assignments by providing legal advice and representation to OCERS and its Board of Retirement in all legal matters pertaining to the daily operations of OCERS. In the absence of the Chief Legal Officer the Deputy Chief Counsel may manage the legal division and ensure that all activities of OCERS are legally supportable and carried out in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and rules. The Deputy Chief Counsel is distinguished by the ability to perform the more complex and difficult legal assignments which require a high degree of knowledge and skill in a specialized field of law, such as: public pension law, institutional investments, family law, tax law, securities law, probate, contracts and medical-legal issues.
