Robert Allen Griffith was elected as Retired Member to the Board of Retirement in November 2004 and began serving his first term on January 1st, 2005.  Mr. Griffith is currently the Chair of the Board of Retirement and a member of the Governance Committee. 

Mr. Griffith is a native of Pocatello, Idaho, but because his father was in the Air Force while he was growing up, Mr. Griffith and his family lived in a variety of places including Mississippi, New Mexico, Goose Bay Labrador (in Canada), Texas, Nebraska, and Puerto Rico.  Mr. Griffith graduated from Cal State Fullerton, earning a bachelor's degree in Political Science/Public Administration in January 1969.
